Si Ms. Belgium at Ang Mahal na Tsokolate aka How I Became Belgian is a bilingual collection of non-fiction stories and poetry that will take you through a wide range of emotions and reflections.

The narratives and poems in this book are creative records of the author’s experiences as a Filipino student and expatriate living in Belgium, where he pursued graduate studies in philosophy and literature, raised his son, learned the country’s languages, questioned his dreams, and tried to build a life and find his place far away from the mother country.
